Celebrate the 159th Anniversary of Juneteenth, when word of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation by President Abraham Lincoln finally reached African-Americans in Texas, two and a half years after its signing. This is the third anniversary of the federal holiday.

Come and enjoy a traditional family picnic. Grill Master Chef Gerald Joseph will be grilling hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers. Condiments, chips, soda, water, and cupcakes will also be provided. The theme this year is “We are Family.” 

TABLES AND CHAIRS WILL BE PROVIDED!

Headlining the entertainment are some of ACES hottest stars - Gwen Milner, Marva Mitchell and Jay Tucker. Get lucky and “take the cake” at the Cake Walk contest. We will recognize our partner elementary schools; you don’t want to miss this! Bring your friends and family for an outdoor Juneteenth Celebration at its best.
